ARTICLE XVII
Election, Initiative, Referendum and RecallInquire about the availability of documents in alternate formats.
SECTION 72. NOMINATION AND ELECTION.
Excepting where otherwise herein provided, all elective county and township
officers shall be nominated and elected at the time and in the manner
and for the terms now or hereafter provided by general law, for the nomination
and election of such officers.
SECTION 73. INITIATIVE AND REFERENDUM. All provisions
of law relative to the initiative may be invoked by the electors of this
county, and all ordinances which may be passed by the Board of Supervisors,
shall be subject to referendum whenever the use of initiative or referendum
is permitted by law.
SECTION 74. RECALL. The holder of any elective
office may be recalled, in the manner provided by law, by the electors
after he has held office six months.
