The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of the County of Sacramento. There are five members of the Board and each represents one of five Districts. Board members, in partnership with County staff, work to ensure the delivery of services and programs essential to the continued prosperity of the Sacramento County region.

COMMUNITY PLANNING COMMISSIONS
Community Planning Commissions have been formed in the unincorporated communities of Arden Arcade, Carmichael/Old Foothill Farms, Fair Oaks and Rio Linda/Elverta.  These commissions hear and act on use permits, variances, lot splits and other land use issues in their communities.  Information on each commission, its members, meeting dates and locations are available on the Community Planning Councils website.
